- Checking AI-edited or supplier images against Amazon main-image rules before upload.
- Screening a batch of candidates to pick the ones safe to publish.
- Verifying an edited image still matches the real product before it goes live.

A real photo of the product. Without it we can still check the image on its own, but we cannot tell you whether the product itself changed.
We report visual risks we can point to on the image. We do not judge whether an image was made with AI — no tool can do that reliably, and we will not pretend otherwise.

Marketplaces reject product images for reasons that are easy to miss on a big monitor: the background is not actually pure white, the product fills too little of the frame, or the photo turns to mush at thumbnail size. Product Image Audit checks a candidate image against a marketplace preset before you publish — resolution, background, subject coverage, aspect ratio, and thumbnail legibility — and every risk it reports points at a place on the image with the measured numbers behind it.
Add a reference photo of the real product and it also compares the outline and overall look, so an edit that quietly changed the product's shape gets caught before a buyer catches it. Presets carry the date we last reviewed each marketplace's rules — policies change, so treat results as guidance, not a compliance guarantee. And to be clear about one thing: we do not judge whether an image was made with AI. No tool can do that reliably, and we will not pretend otherwise.
- Input: 1–10 candidate images (JPG / PNG / WebP) + optional reference photo
- Output: per-image verdict + located risks with measurements and a suggested fix
- Presets: Amazon, Shopify, TikTok Shop, Temu, generic — each with a review date
- Price: free — checking costs nothing, only the fixes you choose to run are paid
Frequently asked questions
Can it tell whether an image was made with AI?
No, and we will not pretend it can. No detection method does this reliably. What it does instead is report concrete, visible risks — background, coverage, resolution, outline changes versus your reference — each tied to a location on the image.
Does a pass mean my listing is compliant?
No. Presets reflect each marketplace's rules as of the review date shown on the page, and platforms change policies without notice. A pass means we found none of the risks we check for — final compliance is always the marketplace's call.
What does the reference photo add?
Without it we can only judge the image on its own. With it we also compare the product outline and overall similarity, which is how you catch an edit that changed the product itself. Checks that need a reference are disabled — not silently skipped — when none is provided.
Why is it free?
The check runs entirely on our servers with no per-image vendor cost, and its job is to tell you which paid fix (cutout, crop, upscale) is actually worth running. Charging for the diagnosis would be charging you to find out what to buy.
What happens to uploaded images?
Same policy as every tool here: auto-deleted within 24 hours unless you save them to your asset library, encrypted in transit, never used to train our models.
